A city boy from Texas and a country girl from Arkansas meet and fall in love in Tennessee. Turns out the country girl's parents are solid-gold folks who are more than willing to indulge their new son-in-law's dream of having some cattle to go along with the hat.

The choice to raise Texas Longhorns was an easy one, but the decision we made to focus on raising heritage-breed longhorns was the best one.
